Although drastic, even tragic, this is one of those days that will go down in the annals of American Economic History.  The day we all dreaded, has come.  It will be interesting to see who Barack Hussein Obama will find to blame for the action taken by Standard & Poor's this evening.  Until then, enjoy the brilliant Pulitzer Prize winner Michael Ramirez' artistic interpretation of this event.
