When Will Congress Honor The Oath of Office?

Two Sisters From The Right have always encouraged friends and readers to submit their writing and to use our webpage as a public forum to express their feelings.  Unfortunately we've learned that many of our friends are so disappointed, and upset about the Obama  administration and the direction that our country has taken since January 2009, that their frustration often impedes their ability to express their feelings and their anger.

When Will Congress Honor Their Oath of Office?

The current oath was enacted in 1884:

I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic, that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same, that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office of which I am about to enter. So help me God.

An oath is defined as: "a solemn, formal declaration or promise to fulfill a pledge, often calling on God, a god, or a sacred object as witness".

Our nation began by a declaration made under and to God, our Constitution created and declared for a moral and virtuous people and purpose, every state preamble giving thanks to God. Each member of congress swears an oath of office, declaring to support and defend the Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic. If the domestic enemy is from within government, how could we expect the enemy from within to battle against, much less be victorious, over themselves? It's like the call to add an amendment limiting the terms served in congress, who in congress is going to fire themselves?

Next comes their promise in word to bear true faith and allegiance to the same (Constitution of the United States), with We the People the "rulers". Allegiance is defined as: "Loyalty or the obligation of loyalty, as to a nation, sovereign, or cause". Where is the loyalty in this congress? Who are they loyal to? Our sovereignty is being jeopardized, our security compromised and the American citizen ignored as we're ridiculed at town halls, called astro turf by those in congress, racists by our black president and unemployed because congress legislated unfair practices in business that favored foreigners. Our founders worked to root out communists, socialists and those that would endanger our free nation, but not this congress, not even this president. Prior presidents and our founders favored the American citizen and even went as far as removing foreigners to make job openings for the Americans, who invest in this nation and are committed to our survival and success. The intentions of our congress though does not bear true faith nor allegiance. 

Without any mental reservation of evasion - How many times have we seen congress refuse to legislate in our behalf due to their "mental reservations"? Our congress often screams we're a democracy (we're a Republic) which would mean the majority "rules", yet when the majority of Americans were against TARP, the Stimulus, Cash for Clunkers, Obama Care (commie care), etc, the majority were ignored and the minority represented. We see this in the labor force where unions make up 12% of the national labor force, yet get all the sweet deals and contracts from those in congress and our White House, even Federal Grants and Not for Profit tax status. To promote their own agenda they incite the public and specific minority sectors of our society (like the New Black Panthers, SEIU, AFL CIO...) to push their agenda aggressively at the street level. They've gone as far as going to citizens houses to protest, disguising themselves as "lambs" while attending events like Tea Parties, town hall meetings and events around the nation at universities and colleges. They are the civilian army we were foretold about as Obama campaigned. Congress has evaded their duties entirely as they've legislated over the past 4 or 5 decades. 

I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office which I am about to enter. As a cashier, if we were $10 short in our registers any given week, we were suspended. If it happened three times within a few month period we were terminated. In that same position if we were caught lying, stealing, inebriated, etc (even suspected of it), action could be taken. Who disciplines the members of congress? Whose duty is it to uphold the rules in congress? It appears that no one in congress has that duty as ethics committees, investigations from every dept and branch to the point justice is reduced to a slap on the wrist. The criminal records of the individuals serving in office should have kept them from office, as it would have had it been you or I running for office. These are suppose to be a moral and virtuous people that have taken the sacred oath as they conclude with "so help me God".

So help me God as they legislate to fund abortions not only in the United States, but worldwide as well. They have legislated a definition of marriage unfriendly to God, placed the burdens of the world upon the American people while restricting their ability to call out to the very God this nation was founded upon and blessed our nation with an abundance. They have removed God from the courts where no longer is a Holy Bible or "so help me God" required when testifying in court. Remove the Highest Authority and we are left to professing to mere individuals, like you and I. This is why a member of congress, a Muslim, was sworn into office on Jefferson's Koran. The god of the Koran is not the same God as the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Jefferson read the Koran and realized that, as well as there was no appeasing those of another faith in our nation founded upon Judeo Christian values and practices. The United States was not founded on Sharia Law, but the Law of Moses. The United States wasn't founded upon the practices of Islam, but the practices of Jesus Christ which gave authority to NO MAN to rule over another. Jesus Christ is our King and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob His Father. Jefferson decided to attack which brought about the Battle of Tripoli, the Barbary War. The founders made it to where NO religion shall be established in our nation nor forced upon the citizens within so that not even Islam could be established here; yet that's what is being done through the assistance of those that took an oath of office to support and defend our Constitution.

This has been a battle since our beginning. Our founding fathers warned us they would continue to prowl and prod until they could find a foothold to squeeze in. Our founders removed communists, those that would not assimilate along with those from within that would assist in chiseling away at our foundation to destroy us from within.

So I ask... When will congress honor their oath of office?
